Holiday Schedule- Memorial Day
The Public Works office and the Transfer Station will be closed Monday, May 27th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day this week. Friday's route will be collected on Saturday.
2013 Roadway Improvements
The Town of Seekonk is planning to install a new wearing surface on Miller Street, Hebron Avenue and Hope Street during the 2013 construction season.
Yard Waste
Yard Waste will be collected curbside during the month of May and will follow the trash collection schedule.
The Transfer Station is open its regular hours for dropping off yard waste. There is no fee or permit required to drop off yard waste at the Transfer Station. However, a valid photo ID with a Seekonk address must be presented. The Transfer Station is located at 350 Fall River Avenue behind the American Legion Hall. Regular operating hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closed noon-12:30 for lunch)
2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 8:00 a.m. to noon
ABSOLUTELY NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE TRANSFER STATION!
