Mission Statement
The Mission of the Zoning Board of Appeals is to hear and decide appeals in accordance with the law, to hear and decide applications for special permits upon which the Board is empowered to act under and to hear and decide petitions for variances.
Please Note
As of January 7, 2019, all applications are required to have a Zoning Determination Letter.
A Zoning Determination Letter can be obtained through the Building Department from Neal Abelson, Zoning Enforcement Officer.
Agendas are posted within 48 hours of the meeting.
Please remember that the deadline to submit a completed application to the ZBA is no later than 4 pm on the dates listed below under "Deadline to file". This will allow time for the application to be processed and for legal ads to be created.
A "Guide to the Appeals Process" can be found in the application packet. It contains helpful information to assist the applicant through the ZBA Process.
As of July 1, 2016, an application fee of $225 per request for each appeal, variance, and/or special permit must accompany your application.
