Cemetery Information

The Town Clerk’s Office maintains records for both of the two Seekonk Cemeteries, Newman Avenue & Dexter Street.

• Newman Avenue Cemetery is located on the corner of Water Lane and Newman Avenue next to the Hurley Middle School at 650 Newman Avenue.
• Dexter Street Cemetery is located at 93 Dexter Street. 

We ask that everyone is respectful when decorating gravesites.  Please do not encroach on neighboring graves.  We ask that only flowers be planted as trees and shrubs grow too large and become very difficult and costly to maintain.  It is becomes difficult for the maintenance team to mow and trim around graves if plants and items are placed in front or to the sides of the markers.  The Town can not be responsible for trees or shrubs that have been accidentally mowed or trimmed back.
